It’s fab and refreshing using Basil which is the mother of all herbs; full of antioxidants, vitamin K, vitamin A. It’s anti inflammatory, anti-bacterial, contains exceptionally high levels of beta-carotene and good amount of minerals like potassium, manganese, copper, and magnesium.

All in all Basil leaves contain many notable plants derived chemical compounds that are known to have disease preventing and health promoting properties.

8 cups water
32  (yes 32) fresh basil leaves
6 Tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
6 Tablespoon Agave nectar
2 teaspoons or more of ground or fresh ginger
Sliced lemon or lime
Blend all but the sliced lemon in blender until well combined.
Strain through muslin or very fine strainer
Pour into tall glasses filled with ice and garnish with a slice of lemon.
Enjoy!
Will keep well for 2-3 days.
